WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
It was so good to get back into the swing of things. The children transitioned very well, and had fun reconnecting with friends. It was a fun week of learning or relearning favorite nursery rhymes. We even learned a song that featured six well-known nursery rhymes and the alphabet. We were able to get outside a few times and brave the cold. Thank you for sending the needed equipment.
Traditional Tales is the theme for this week. There will be lots of old favorites: “The Three Little Pigs”, “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”, “Henny Penny”, and several others. Writing G, S and 6 correctly will be the handwriting skills. Learning how to wait patiently is the social skill that we will focus on.

The Stevens Point School District is offering an opportunity for all parents to explore ways to make meal time easier and healthier. On January 18 at 5:30 there will be an event at Jefferson Elementary. There is free child care for children.

Movie Night
Canaland is bringing movies on the big screen back! We will be showing "Paw Patrol - The Mighty Movie" for our first premiere and are eager to visit with friends and enjoy some much-deserved quality time! This is a free event and open to all Canaland families as well as the community, so don't forget to invite your friends and family! The doors open at 5:00pm with Pizza and concessions available to purchase, and then the movie begins at 5:30. We are so excited to see you there!
