At Canaland Early Learning, we care about the whole child—physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, and intellectually. As a Christian Early Learning Center, our goal is to create a nurturing, faith-filled environment where your child feels safe, loved, and ready to grow.
Our program serves children starting at 6 weeks old through school-age, including Camp Summer Fun, with learning that is tailored to each stage of development. Through play-based learning, children explore, discover, and grow in confidence and independence while forming meaningful relationships and life skills that will last a lifetime.
Infants (6 weeks – 12 months)
In our infant room, everything is about nurturing, connection, and supporting development at each baby’s natural pace. We know the early months are critical, so we provide a peaceful and engaging environment where babies are loved, held, and encouraged to explore the world around them.
What your baby will experience:
Tummy time and sensory play to support motor development
Reading, singing, and talking to build early language connections
Gentle routines that support emotional security
Walks in the stroller to explore nature
Introduction to a few basic American Sign Language signs around 8 months
Lots of love and snuggles!
Toddlers (1 – 2 years)
Toddlers are full of curiosity and always on the move! In our toddler classrooms, we foster independence, social development, and exploration, all while helping them express themselves and learn through hands-on play.
What your toddler will learn:
Building vocabulary and understanding through songs, books, and conversation
Beginning to follow simple directions and classroom routines
Social-emotional skills like sharing, helping, and expressing needs
Opportunities for classroom jobs to build responsibility and a sense of purpose
