Preschool (2K and 3K)
Preschoolers at Canaland are curious, energetic, and full of imagination, and we love helping them grow! Our 2K and 3K classrooms are designed to encourage exploration and independence in a play-based learning environment where children feel safe, loved, and celebrated for who they are.
At this age, learning is woven into everything we do. Through hands-on activities, imaginative play, and structured moments like circle time, children begin to recognize colors, shapes, letters, numbers, body parts, and common objects. We also introduce music, movement, and story time to support both language development and listening skills.
Every day includes opportunities to build fine and gross motor skills—from stacking blocks and using crayons to climbing, running, and jumping during outdoor play. We also introduce early classroom routines, including classroom jobs and group responsibilities, helping preschoolers grow in confidence and feel like an important part of the class.
Age Groups:
2K-A (children who turn two while they’re still in the toddlers room, before they move up to 2K-B)
