WHAT WE ARE LEARNING

Making good choices can be difficult but we do know how to make them and how to be a blessing to others. We talked about the not so good choices that Goldilocks made and the good choices that we each make each day. It was a great week.

Healthy choices top off this week. There will be discussions into what are some healthy choices that we can make, especially the kinds of food choices that are made. To help with this there will be a small grocery in our room. Handwriting will focus on H and 4 as well as practicing our own name. Our room is beginning to take shape for the holiday season. It is so fun to see.

Christmas Production Practice

4K only December 5 at 3:30-4:00

Week of December 4: Practice on Tuesday (9:30am), Wednesday (9:30am & 2:45pm), Thursday (9:30am & 2:45pm), & Friday dress rehearsal (10am)

Please note that if your child is in 4K class time they will not be rehearsing. They will practice when they are in wrap around care. If your child is not in wrap around care please feel free to bring them to practices outside of class time.

Christmas Party

On December 21 4K will have a Christmas party. There will be games and fun and a gift exchange. Please, if you can, send a small gift ($5 or less) for a gift exchange. Please send a gift for a child the same sex as your child.

Also, we are looking for volunteers that day (9:45-11:30 and 1:30-3:15). If you are available please let me know.

Christmas Store

If you wish for your child to participate in the Christmas store be sure to hand in the gifts needed list so that we are sure to have something for each important member of your family.

If you wish to donate some items drop them off at Canaland’s desk.

Coats, Hats and Mittens

Thank you for sending the proper cold weather apparel. When it snows or if there is snow on the ground, even a little, the children do need to bring snow pants and snow boots as well as the winter coat, hats and mittens.
