WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
Despite being a short week, we had fun learning about make-believe giants. One of the stories shared was “Jack and the Bean Stalk”. It was fun hearing about Jack’s adventures. We practiced writing our names, and listening for the beginning sounds in words.
Getting back to a full week of learning will be a great adventure as we consider our choices and our ability to make good choices. When reading stories this week we will think about the choices that are being made and if those are the same choices we would make.

Christmas Production Practice
Week of November 27: Practice on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday at 9:30am
Week of December 4: Practice on Tuesday (9:30am), Wednesday (9:30am & 2:45pm), Thursday (9:30am & 2:45pm), & Friday dress rehearsal (10am)
Please note that if your child is in 4K class time they will not be rehearsing. They will practice when they are in wrap around care.
Christmas Party
On December 21 4K will have a Christmas party. There will be games and fun and a gift exchange. Please, if you can, send a small gift ($5 or less) for a gift exchange. Please send a gift for a child the same sex as your child.
Also, we are looking for volunteers that day. If you are available please let me know.
Christmas Store
If you wish for your child to participate in the Christmas store be sure to hand in the gifts needed list so that we are sure to have something for each important member of your family.
If you wish to donate some items drop them off at Canaland’s desk.
Coats, Hats and Mittens
Thank you for sending the proper cold weather apparel. When it snows or if there is snow on the ground, even a little, the children do need to bring snow pants and snow boots as well as the winter coat, hats and mittens.
