WHAT WE ARE LEARNING

Last week was so fun! Making the “apple sauce” (it was really apple pieces), singing songs about apples, learning about how our brain works and a little about our feelings. It was so busy. Most of us experimented with finger paint and made very fun pictures. On Thursday we finally got to play outside again and thoroughly enjoyed it!

October has us studying “My Family and Friends”. This first week we will look specifically at our families. That is why we wanted the poster of families. Those will be put up so that everyone cans see them. This week there will be fun stories, songs and activities to look at our families.

Picture Book

I know that we just had everyone do a family poster, but I was wondering if we could have a picture of your family that we could put in a scrap book for the year. Having a picture of families in our room can be a great tool to create interest and to help those who sometimes miss you.

Thank you for your help.

Activity Calendars

Please do at least a few of the activities and mark them off and send it back at the end of the month. Then your child can pick a prize. September’s calendar is due on October 5.

You will receive the October calendar on Monday, October 2.

Johnny Appleseed Day

It was very fun to help make the “apple sauce”. Using the apple peeler, corer, slicer was extremely cool.
