Celebrating 40 Years!
Canaland first opened its doors on April 1, 1985, with just two kids and two staff members—and look at us now! For the past 40 years, we’ve had the joy of teaching, caring for, and growing alongside so many incredible children and families.
We’re celebrating 40 years of Canaland with a special birthday week full of fun activities, memories, and a look back at where it all began!
Monday, March 31
Birthday Craft
We will kick off the week with a special birthday craft led by Miss Sarena, one of our amazing teachers!

Birthday Party
It’s Canaland’s official birthday, and we’re celebrating in every classroom with games, activities, and fun! Don’t forget to dress for the occasion—it’s Birthday Dress Day! Each classroom will be hosting a special birthday party. Parents are welcome to attend!
Wednesday, April 2

Our friends from SPCA will be joining us for Reading Buddies, and we’ll have a special birthday chapel led by Canaland’s founders, Pastor Matt & Deb Mallek

Movies on the BIG Screen & Canaland Reunion
We’re wrapping up the week with TWO big events in one!
Details:
Movies on the Big Screen – We’ll be watching The Lion King, a classic throwback from Canaland’s early years. Doors open at 5pm and the movie starts at 5:30pm
Canaland Reunion – We’re inviting all former staff and students to join us in reminiscing, reconnecting, and celebrating all that Canaland has meant to so many over the years.
