WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
4K is having a lot of fun! We have one adjustment that we are making to our current classroom schedule. We will be switching the last two items. Our outside time will be before our 2nd Step/ Pyramid Model time. I believe this will give a better flow at dismissal because we will be coming out the front door instead of the playground.
Our theme this week is Apples. There will be several different apple activities. We will try three kinds of apples and vote for our favorite, and make a graph of the results. Then we will paint with apples and read about how they grow. In Handwriting without Tears we will introduce a proper crayon grip, and working with the lines and curves to make letters. An introduction of the letters d, e, and f and their sounds, and an introduction to the SMART moves Superman and Alligator Crawl will happen this week too. Lots of fun in 4K to look forward to.

Mom and Dad - on Monday a book in a blue and black bag was sent home. Please send it back if you have not. You will receive one each week for about 20 weeks. Our goal is to return them by Wednesday so that we can prepare them for the next Monday. Please read and have fun.
