WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
This week we will finish up the Insect Safari! In handwriting we will work on lower case a, d, and g, as well as the number 6. Social/emotional lessons will concentrate on “Respect and Take Care of Things”, “Understand and Care”, and “When I Feel Afraid”. We will continue to discuss coins and their values and have some fun with songs. The children can identify the quarter, dime, nickel and penny. They also know their value!
PETE THE CAT, GILBERT THE SHARK, AND BISCUIT
Pete the Cat went with Gwen to play with her sister Nora and the neighborhood friends. They really enjoyed the slides. Saturday they got to jump on the neighbor’s trampoline and enjoyed a Popsicle. On Easter they had an egg hunt in the yard and had an Easter feast.
Biscuit and Anna were very busy. Friday was packing and then traveling to the Twin Cities to see cousins. On the way they stopped in Thorp to have tour of the place making their new cabinets. When they arrived they played outside. Saturday they died Easter eggs. Later they all played Legos together. Sunday they found their baskets and played before heading home.
Gilbert the Shark got to go home with Sarah. Friday they had ice cream and Sarah shared her milk shake. They also played outside and watched a movie about sharks. Sunday there was an egg hunt and they celebrated Jesus coming back to life. It was a great weekend!
