WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
This week and next we will explore the themes of doctors and Dr. Seuss. There will be fun books and a doctor’s office play area. Learning to write D and M for handwriting time will be exciting. Having fun with friends will be our topic of discussion and learning during our social/emotional time. Don’t forget we will be going to the Children’s Museum on Tuesday. Make sure we have your permission slip.
PETE THE CAT, GILBERT THE SHARK, AND BISCUIT
Pete spent some time with Henry. They had a good time together. On the snowy days they watched movies and played in Henry’s room. After all of the play time Pete helped Henry clean his room. What a nice friend.
Gilbert the Great and Biscuit spent the week at school, because we had a no school day on Thursday, February 7. We hope everyone gets to go home this weekend.

I am sorry, but just lately there has been an abundance of paperwork for parents to fill out and hand in. The Lion’s Club vision screening is done. However, there is still the permission slip for the Children’s Museum and the parent/teacher conference suggestion. Please return both as soon as you can.
The party was great fun! Thank you to everyone who came and helped. The children really enjoyed it.
You have received conference times. Please respond as to whether the time works for you or if we need to try a different time. Also, don’t forget to come.
Please remember to update extra clothes in lockers and backpacks. Double check for current season and size.
Be sure to send outdoor clothing if the temperature with the wind chill will be above 20 degrees. We do like to get out when we can.
Keep working on February calendars! Do as many as you can and return it in March.
