WHAT WE ARE LEARNING

This week our theme shifts a little bit. We will be looking at Christmas. We will work on gifts for parents and color and paint some Christmas pictures. In Handwriting we will write O and draw a circle and Mat Man. The social/emotional unit switches to Emotion Management. The theme this week is We Feel Feelings in Our Bodies, and we will discuss what our bodies feel like and think about what our bodies can be telling us.

PETE THE CAT, GILBERT THE SHARK, AND BISCUIT

Pete the Cat went home with Anna. Friday was spent in Green Bay at a water park for Anna’s bother James’ birthday. They also went to Lambeau field and her aunt and uncle’s house to celebrate Christmas. Saturday they went to the Nutcracker ballet in Wausau and then home for some relaxation. Checking on the progress of the new house topped of Sunday. They took a sled ride through the woods while there. Then hot cocoa and a birthday party for Brooklyn. What a great weekend!

Gilbert the Great had a great time with Gwen. They practiced for the program and later watched a Star Wars movie. On Saturday Mom painted Gwen’s finger nails green with red hearts. Later they played in the snow with neighborhood friends. Making a snowman and watching football topped off Sunday. Oh yeah, the made sundaes for dinner. It was a special treat!

Rylee Jo took Biscuit home. Friday was daycare and an early bed time. They were so excited on Saturday when they saw all of the snow on the ground! After lunch they packed a bag to go to Grandma’s house! They played with Mew Mew and the two dogs. On Sunday it was bath day. Biscuit waited while Rylee got her bath. With new show pants the girls played outside while Dad cleared off the driveway. Dinner was pizza and the movie Bolt. So much fun!
