WHAT WE ARE LEARNING

Christmas is everywhere! The children are quite excited. We have been talking about how Christmas is more than receiving gifts. Some of them are starting to understand this. It is so exciting to see things through their eyes and their imaginations. Thank you for sharing them with us this season. We will also work on writing the letters Q, G and the number 5. Strong Feelings will be the topic during social/emotional time.

PETE THE CAT, GILBERT THE SHARK, AND BISCUIT

Pete the Cat went to Natalie’s and had movie night Thursday, and relaxed with her cats. Friday morning they had puzzle and game time with Grandma, and later went to big sister Morgan’s Christmas program. On Saturday everyone went to Morgan’s piano recital, and then to the grocery store and McDonald’s. Sunday Morgan and Natalie went with Nana to Sentry World for the Boys and Girls Club Christmas party. Pete stayed home since cats were not allowed. The rest of the day was spent playing in Natalie’s room.

Gilbert the Great went home with Greyson and met his whole family! Friday they went to the cheese factory. They saw cheese curds being made, and they were yummy. Later he went to church with them. It was pajama night and movie! Saturday and Sunday were quiet days. The best was napping with Greyson. After nap they played Trouble. Gilbert even snuck an apple. It was a great weekend.

Biscuit had a super fun time with Cameron. Friday was at Grandma and Grandpa McKay’s house, and adventures with Grandma McKay. The Children’s Museum was Saturday morning’s big event. Then lunch at the Coffee Studio. Then they ran some errands with Dad while big sister and Mom were at a birthday party. On Sunday they went to their aunt and uncle’s house to celebrate a cousin’s birthday. There was lots of toys and a monster truck cake. What a great weekend!
