WHAT WE ARE LEARNING
Monday we will study Veterans Day and review “This Land is Your Land”. Then we will be studying Thanksgiving and why we celebrate. There will be some stories and songs about the Pilgrims and some about turkeys and giving thanks. In Handwriting without Tears we will write the number 3, H, and T. We will also explore the fact that people may have different feelings about the same topic or experience and that is okay.
PETE THE CAT, GILBERT THE SHARK, AND BISCUIT
Pete the Cat went with Julia to the Fall Festival and went in the bouncy house. For lunch on Saturday they went to QDoba and had Tacos, chips and sauce. Later they went to a friends birthday party. It was so much fun. That night Papa Pete, Julia and Pete the Cat saw the play Mary Poppins. Sunday Julia, Mama, and sister Abby went to Adventure Alley. We got to play with Floyd while there.
It was Greysen’s weekend with Biscuit. Friday they worked on mazes and played with Legos. Visiting kitties that were up for adoption was the highlight for Saturday. Buscuit wanted to see puppies but was excited for the kitties. On Sunday they took a trip to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. They played games and even got watch a movie on the big screen!

Thank you to those who were able to complete their Turkey feathers. They are on our bulletin board and are very fun. If you have not gotten it back it’s okay. Send when it is done and we will add it on.
This week we have our first student birthday of the school year. I want to remind parents that you may send a sweet treat with your child on or near their birthday. Please remember two rules: 1. It must be from a commercial kitchen. (You must buy it.) 2. No Nuts, not only is Canaland nut free, but there is at least one nut allergy in our class.
Thank you to all who were able to participate in Clay Corners. It was a lot of fun! We will get the ornaments back soon.
Pumpkin Pie Party
On Monday, November 19 from 5-6:30 pm 4K will have a Pumpkin Pie Party. We will make a no bake pie during class that day and share with our families that evening. There will also be games, coloring and lots of fun. Please RSVP so that we can make enough pies.
Please be working on the activity calendar with your child. When the month is done send it back to school so they can pick a prize.
