Weeks of: September 10-14, 2018

Mrs. Missy Kessel – Lead Teacher, Miss Meghan Trierweiler – Assistant Teacher

The first week of school went very well! The children seemed to enjoy the activities and playing with each other. Thank you for a good first week.

This week we will continue with the “Welcome to School” theme. There will be stories and crafts to go with this, as well as fun play stations.  Also, our social/emotional curriculum will focus on this. On Tuesday we will study a little about Ghana and do a craft with that. We will continue to learn more SMART moves. This week we will add “Popcorn” and a visual tracker. The introduction of letters A,B, and C will be with a book during our story time. Your kids are fun and exciting and I am excited about this week.

These are the stuffed friends and they did go home this last weekend. We cannot wait to hear the adventures that they had.

Outreach Calendar

Parents, you received an activity calendar in your child’s folder on Tuesday. There will be one each month. Please do as many activities as you would enjoy. They are designed to help your child to learn and grow.

Mark on each one that you do and at the end of the month please send it back to class in your child’s folder. They will receive a prize for returning their calendar, but they need your help to work on the activities. I think you will have fun with them.

Please call if your child is not going to be at school. I do take attendance and turn that into the district.  If you do have a question you can call (715)341-8747, or e-mail me at mkessel@pointschools.net.

Please be sure that your child has a change of clothing either in their locker or their backpack. Unfortunately spills and mistakes do happen.
